Methodology for remote sensing estimation of flood roughness of data-deficient watercourses and flood simulation sensitivity analysis using different hydraulic/hydrodynamic approaches (1D,2D,1D/2D)
The objective of the project is the assessment of various remote sensing techniques for the estimation of roughness coefficient in floodplains of data-deficient watercourses. Additionally, a flood simulation sensitivity analysis has been realized by using different hydraulic/hydrodynamic approaches (1D,2D,1D/2D).
The project is funded by the Hellenic Ministry of Education and Religion, Operational Program “Human Resource Development, Training and Lifelong Learning – ESPA 2014-2020.
The aim of the intervention is to strengthen their academic CV researchers and their research skills in order to improve their academic/research career prospects.
